It is needless to describe the chemical nature of the drug here and the literature on the subject of the treatment of malaria by the use of plasmochin is now too extensive to refer to in detail. The observations made by others may be summarised as follows :? (1) It has a destructive action on the trophozoites of P. vivax and P. malarice. (2) It has no such action on the trophozoites of P. falciparum.
